We offer the optomap® Retinal Exam as an integral part of our comprehensive eye health evaluations.

The optomap® Retinal Exam produces a digital image and provides us with a wide view of approximately 82% of your retina, helping us evaluate your visual heath.

Many eye problems develop without warning signs or symptoms. Diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal tears or detachments, as well as other health problems like diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected with a retinal exam.

An optomap® Retinal Exam provides:

• A scan to confirm a healthy eye or, detect the presence of disease.
• The opportunity for you to view and discuss the optomap images of your eye with Dr. Ward at the time of your exam.
• A permanent record, enabling us to make comparisons if problems show themselves at a future examination.
